Pre-Care & Aftercare

Beautiful results are a partnership

Your preparation and aftercare shape your final result as much as the artistry itself. Find your service below — and keep this page handy while you heal.

Permanent Makeup (Brows · Lips · Eyeliner)

Careful preparation and gentle aftercare are the difference between good results and beautiful, long-lasting ones. Please read these before your appointment.

Before your appointment

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment, and — with your doctor's approval — aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil too, as they thin the blood and affect pigment retention.
  • Avoid retinol, AHAs, and exfoliating treatments on the area for at least 7 days prior.
  • No Botox or filler in the treatment area within 2 weeks before your appointment.
  • No sunburn, active blemishes, or irritated skin in the treatment area on the day of your procedure.
  • For lip blush: if you have any history of cold sores, begin an antiviral (prescribed by your doctor) 2 days before your appointment.
  • Arrive with the treatment area clean and makeup-free if possible.
  • Eat a normal meal before you arrive — it helps comfort and steadiness.

After your appointment

  • Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours; gently blot with sterile gauze if lymph appears.
  • Apply the provided aftercare balm sparingly as instructed — a little is enough.
  • No makeup, sweat-heavy workouts, saunas, pools, or hot yoga for 10–14 days.
  • Do not pick, scratch, or rub flaking skin — let it shed naturally to protect the pigment.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure during healing; once healed, SPF is your pigment's best friend.
  • Sleep slightly elevated and on your back for the first few nights if possible.
  • Expect the colour to look darker for the first week, then soften — final healed colour settles by 4–6 weeks.

Lash Extensions · Lash Lift & Lamination

Simple habits keep your lashes beautiful for weeks.

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with completely clean, makeup-free lashes — no mascara or liner residue.
  • Avoid curling your lashes for 48 hours before a lift.
  • Remove contact lenses before your appointment.
  • Skip caffeine right before your appointment if your eyes tend to flutter.

After your appointment

  • Keep lashes completely dry for the first 24 hours.
  • Avoid oil-based products, waterproof mascara, and lash curlers.
  • Brush extensions gently each morning with the spoolie provided.
  • Sleep on your back or side — avoid pressing lashes into the pillow.
  • For extensions: book refills every 2–3 weeks to keep your set full.

Microneedling

Give your skin a calm runway before and after treatment for the best glow.

Before your appointment

  • Discontinue retinol and strong actives 5–7 days before treatment.
  • No recent sunburn or active breakout in the treatment area.
  • Avoid blood thinners (with your doctor's approval) for 24 hours prior.
  • Arrive with clean skin, no makeup.

After your appointment

  • Expect mild redness for 24–48 hours — like a light sunburn.
  • No makeup for 24 hours; gentle cleanser and hydrating serum only.
  • No workouts, saunas, or swimming for 48 hours.
  • SPF 30+ daily — your fresh skin is sun-sensitive while it renews.
  • Resume actives (retinol, acids) only after 5–7 days.

Makeup Appointments

A little prep makes your application flawless and long-wearing.

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with a clean, moisturized face — skip heavy creams right before.
  • Exfoliate gently the night before for the smoothest base.
  • Bring your inspiration photos and outfit details.
  • For bridal: book your trial 4–8 weeks before the big day.

After your appointment

  • Blot, don't rub, throughout your event to keep the look fresh.
  • Use the touch-up tips provided at your appointment.
  • Remove makeup gently with an oil-based cleanser at the end of the day.
